- Volleyball exercise 'Defense Reaction'
- Aim: Improving reaction time, awareness and defensive techniques
- Players required: Attacker and Defender
- Defender stands ready with his back to the Attacker
- Acoustic signal from the attacker triggers a reaction from the defender
- Three variations of the exercise:
- attacker hits the ball in the direction of the defender, who must react quickly and fend off the ball
- attacker taps the ball lightly towards the defender, who must be alert and react quickly
- attacker can hit the ball hard or tip it slightly, defender must analyze the situation and react accordingly
