- The ball is played towards the basket in an overhead pass
- The first ball cannot be scored in the basket
- The other player must play the rebounding ball, after it has touched the ground once, in an underhand pass to himself and then attempt to score in the basket
- A point is earned when the ball is scored in the basket
- The player who scored the last point brings the next ball into play
- The first player to reach a certain number of points (e.g. 10) wins the game
